Briarwood Riding School is the home of accomplished Three Day Event rider, Sarah VandenBerg. Sarah, along with her sister Jill, originally started Briarwood almost 20 years ago and have been creating successful horse and rider combinations ever since. Believing that riding should be both fun and rewarding, our mission remains to provide top quality instruction, training, and coaching specifically tailored to the needs of you and your horse.

Briarwood is ideally located at Copper Meadows in Ramona -- San Diego's premiere equestrian center for Three Day Eventing. Just 20 minutes from Poway/Scripps Ranch and 40 minutes from Downtown San Diego, Briarwood offers a full horsemanship program for beginning through advanced riders from age 7 through adult. Sarah's experience as an Advanced Level Competitor, USPC "A" Graduate, and United States Eventing Association Level III Certified Instructor combine to create a safe, proven environment to meet your goals. Lessons, training, competitive programs, as well as a team of show quality school horses are here, ready for you to enjoy.
